Native Mac games

Native does not always mean quiet.

Dota 2, League of Legends, World of Warcraft, Diablo III, Steam games and Epic games can still feel uneven when macOS is busy, warm, power-limited or doing background work.

What CloudBoost watches

  • CPU and system pressure during the session.
  • Thermal pressure and Low Power Mode.
  • Background sync, backup, launcher and browser activity.
  • Network jitter and packet loss for online games.
  • Session changes applied and restored by CloudBoost.

Important limit

CloudBoost does not change game graphics settings or promise large FPS gains. It helps keep the surrounding macOS session cleaner and easier to diagnose.

Shader compilation, asset streaming, renderer frame time, engine stalls and Rosetta/translation work happen inside or directly around the game. CloudBoost cannot measure them directly. If Session Lab reports clean Mac-side pressure while stutter remains, investigate those causes next.
